Our Story
“Fabdoria”, our baby took birth all thanks to the fond childhood memories of my homeland Kota a.k.a ‘Nani ka Ghar’. Nani was an epitome of beauty and simplicity. Her warmth, candor and her persona were desirable to impersonate. Something that I truly inherited from her is the love for ‘Sarees’. In summer vacations when we visited Kota, I remember dolling up in my Nani’s sarees and my little brother Amit masquerading as my stylist. The penchant for sarees continued as I grew up. My preference for Kota doria sarees is overtly apparent because those are extremely light, vibrant, elegant & sustainable. I started donning Kota doria sarees for events and festivities and got complimented for the look every single time .The ladies loved it! Back then I never gave it a thought, until the Pandemic hit us. The pandemic left a lot of us personally and professionally stuck. Being the risk taker that I’m, began the laboring for the conception of Fabdoria as I knew it would be worth it!
My little brother who is like the Tom to Jerry and Ross to Monica wholeheartedly became an indispensable part of this dream venture. We researched, met multiple weavers and textile artists personally. It’s been a year identifying the current market conditions. My share of work has been selecting the fabrics, colors, designs personally whereas Amit took a closer look into logistics of it.
My working journey began as an advertising freelancer and a voice over artist and now I enter this arena with an upsurged fervour and passion for it. Amit’s journey grows through this, be it writing, photography, anything innovative his love for creativity surmounts!.

Fabdoria
‘The unpredictability of life is such that it always contributes in building you’ This is how I like to experience life, in its own pace experimenting fearlessly and learning. Amit is however conscientious, and calculative; this is how we balance and truly come together to make ourselves feel proud and you!
